Can you pease confirm that Selfridges, London sell the capsules. Also, where will I find an up-to-date list of stores that do still stock them.

i am using the citiz machine and its the best thing in my kitchen. i live in cork ireland and capsules can only be purchased in brown thomas stores or else online. nespresso want to keep an air of exclusivity about the brand, thats why their boutiques are associated with luxury stores. its just the way theyve chosen to market i suppose but it does mean that not everyone has access to the brand eg people living outside the city who dont have internet access.

I’m looking into the slow issue.. Sorry about that.
About ordering capsules from the Nespresso website, you can also buy the capsules at Nespresso boutique stores, but anyways, that’s how Nespresso works… There are other capsule systems, that have coffee machines, and for those systems you can buy the capsules in stores. Nespresso is not the case.
Just to be clear, I am not connected to Nespresso in any commercial way, so I have no say in it

Your website is slow. Why the need for a password.
Postage charge is exhorbitant. Why can we not buy these capsules in the shops???

You know Zak, that’s why there are other capsule system coffee machines for you to consider. Some, such as Caffitaly opened their technology to coffee manufacturers, that can then produce capsules, giving the option to a much wider variety of tastes. Of course, there are pros and cons to very system. If you want more information read our related post on Capsule Systems.

I am really angry as I also feel its unfair to purchase online and pay for postage. I usually buy my capsules from a shop in Mkt Harborough (Leicester) and they told me today that they are not allowed to stock them anymore. This is ridiculous and I am annoyed that a. Nespresso is taking business from a small independent retailer during a RECESSION and b. that they are not offering me choice. My current options are to waste time and money on a trip to Selfridges or pay the inflated prices directly to Nespresso. I will not be recommending these machines anymore as I believe that Nespresso are looking at short term profits and failed to recognise the importance of Customer Relationship Management.
